Ever wondered what is on the bottom of an Emmy Award? Turns out, it's a lot of words — the rules and disclaimers of the statuette, to be exact.

As seen in the photo below, the following rules appear on the bottom of the Emmys statuettes, as confirmed by Entertainment Weekly at this year's awards shindig. They are as follows:

The Emmy® statuette is the property of and all rights are reserved by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences/National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences ("Academies").

The Emmy® statuette may not be reproduced or used in any commercial manner unless otherwise permitted by the Academies, it being understood that possession of the same is solely for the benefit of the recipient and the recipient's heirs or successors in interest.

If a recipient or the recipient's heir or successor in interest proposes to sell or otherwise dispose of the Emmy® statuette, such persons shall be obligated to return the statuette to the Academy from which received, which will retain the same in storage in memory of the recipient.

All right, then.

Elsewhere on the golden statuette, the winners' names and categories get engraved on the front.

In the case of this year's Emmys, those winners include a whole lot of people from the series Adolescence, The Pitt, and The Studio.

The latter Apple TV+ comedy had a huge night, with star and co-creator Seth Rogen winning four Emmys, including Best Comedy Series and Best Actor in a Comedy. He also won Best Directing and shared Best Writing honors with Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory and Frida Perez.

Though Severance went into the night with the most nominations for any show, it was the medical series The Pitt that reigned supreme on the drama side with three Emmys, including Best Drama Series. Star Noah Wyle won Best Actor in a Drama Series, and in something of an upset against the ladies of The White Lotus, Katherine LaNasa won Best Supporting Actress in a drama series.

On the limited series front, Netflix's weighty crime drama Adolescence dominated with six total awards, including Best Limited or Anthology Series, Best Actor (Stephen Graham), Best Supporting Actor (Owen Cooper), Best Supporting Actress (Erin Doherty), Best Directing, and Best Writing.

Hosted by Nate Bargatze, the 77th Emmy Awards aired live coast-to-coast on CBS from the Peacock Theater in L.A. on Sunday night.
