However, he decommitted last week, setting the stage for several schools to officially get back in the mix for the 6-foot-5, 320-pounder out of Central Phenix City High School in Phenix City, Alabama.

It didn't take long for Williams to reveal the programs that have the best chance at landing him. He has announced that his top four schools are the Alabama Crimson Tide , Georgia Bulldogs , Auburn Tigers , and the Florida State Seminoles . There is no set date for when he'll make his decision at the moment.

Williams has official visits locked in with each school as well. He'll see Alabama first on Oct. 24. FSU will host him on Oct. 31 for their Halloween game versus the Clemson Tigers . A week later on Nov. 7, Williams will head to Auburn, and on Nov. 14 he'll be in Athens to visit Georgia.

The Seminoles have been heavily involved in the recruitment of Williams since they offered him last January. He took a Junior Day visit last March and an unofficial visit last April plus he was on campus twice for game trips last season. Williams took another Junior Day visit back in January and unofficial visits in March and April.

Florida State has been named a dark horse in the recruitment of Williams, with the future of head coach Mike Norvell playing a big factor. So, next weekend will be big for the Seminoles and their chances of landing him, which would be their first commitment on the offensive line in the 2027 cycle.

Williams is the nation's No. 114 overall prospect and the No. 8 interior offensive lineman per 247Sports composite rankings. He's also the No. 3 recruit in the state of Alabama.
