Variety // Getty Images Zac Affleck and Jen Affleck are divorcing after seven years of marriage, and Zac just hopped on TikTok to confirm that he learned about Jen filing via a TMZ report. The video paints a positive picture of their future as coparents, but Jen is not having it because she responded by dropping footage of Zac making offensive comments about her postpartum body. The caption? “He was never my biggest supporter.”
The video features Jen filming content while postpartum, and Zac can be heard in the background criticizing her appearance and saying “your tits are sagging all over.”
Jen also posted a video of him getting mad at her for putting a dirty towel on the ground—to which she points out that she needs more help with the laundry and household chores.
Meanwhile, Zac said in his initial video, "I found out from a TMZ reporter about the filing. But regardless of that, this is something we've been talking about for a long time. Jen came to me about a year ago, after Dancing With the Stars, and told me she was unhappy and wanted a divorce. And I basically begged her to stay, told her work on things, fix things, become whoever she needed me to be.”
He added, “I will continue to support her and be her biggest fan,” and “I don't want anyone speaking bad about Jen. I'll be the first to say I've made plenty of mistakes in our marriage, and it just really was time for for us to go our own ways. We got married so young, and it sucks because I really did feel like we had something pretty special when we got married.”
Zac ended his comments by saying he hopes to coparent his kids, explaining “I just hope that we can still give them a normal childhood, but as far as that goes, Jen and I are definitely on the same page of wanting to give them the best the best life we can.”
