60 MINUTES, television's #1 news broadcast for five decades and counting, offers hard-hitting investigative reports, newsmaker interviews, feature segments, and in-depth profiles. With the close of its 2023-24 season, the CBS newsmagazine made history by marking 50 consecutive years as America's #1 news program. The 56th season of 60 MINUTES reached over 100 million viewers, and the program has finished among Nielsen's annual top 10 list for 24 seasons - a record never approached by another program. 60 MINUTES has been honored with almost every broadcast journalism award, including 25 Peabody awards for excellence in television broadcasting and more Emmys than any other primetime broadcast. 60 MINUTES was created in 1968 by Don Hewitt and premiered on CBS that September.
The executive producer is Tanya Simon, and the correspondents are Lesley Stahl, Scott Pelley, Bill Whitaker, Anderson Cooper, Sharyn Alfonsi, Jon Wertheim, and Cecilia Vega. Norah O'Donnell is a contributor. Tune in on Sundays at 7 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
