Once upon a time, summer was all about seeing live concerts — the more, the better. But as music lovers know all too well, with ticket prices climbing higher and higher every year, the prospect can be a prohibitively expensive one for many. That's why Fleetwood Mac fans were losing it over a recently resurfaced advertisement proving just how much more affordable life used to be when the band was at the height of their fame.

A video shared to TikTok this week featuring a vintage ad from the Spectrum in Philadelphia, PA, listed ticket prices for the venue's hottest shows during the summer of 1976.

As the photo showed, a Fleetwood Mac concert on Monday, July 12 of that year (also including New Riders of the Purple Sage and Firefall) were just $5.50 in advance and $6.50 on the day of the show. And those weren't the only shows with tix under $10: Also on the schedule at the Spectrum that season were such legendary acts as the Marshall Tucker Band, ZZ Top, Blue Oyster Cult, The Neil Young/Stephen Stills Band, Earth, Wind & Fire, Elton John, and Jethro Tull.

"Wow...brain just exploded," one commenter admitted, with a second simply saying, "WOW."

"Not a single one over $10," noted someone else, as another person pointed out, "Those ticket prices went up 10x in 50 years."

"Back when life was cool and fun," lamented yet another TikTok user.

While Fleetwood Mac hasn't toured together since 2019 — and the original lineup can never tour together again, as singer and keyboardist Christine McVie died in 2022 — singer Stevie Nicks is on tour this year...and tickets will set hopeful attendees back a lot more than six bucks: According to SeatGeek, tix to see Stevie Nicks in 2025 start at around $129 (but can go higher depending on various factors, such as location).
