Kylie Jenner has made some bold outfit choices in her day — and she still stands by them.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder, 28, filmed a new episode of Vogue's "Life in Looks" series and reflected on the controversial gown she wore to friends Justin and Hailey Bieber's wedding ceremony in South Carolina on Sept. 30, 2019.
"I think people were a little upset that I went all out," the mom of two said of the J'Aton Couture metallic gold gown, which featured a cleavage-baring cutout and a waist-high slit.

Jenner said that the Biebers were totally okay with her look — and even offered to give Hailey a ring if she had an "issue". But now, she admits that she "probably wouldn't wear this now to someone's wedding."
"I had the impression that people were just going to be going all out," she said. "I love this look. I had one of the best nights actually, I was one of the last ones to leave the wedding."
Following the ceremony, hosted by the Biebers after their 2018 civil ceremony in New York City, Jenner gave fans a close-up look at her ensembles details, including her Goshwara jewels, Stuart Weitzman heels, Elizabeth Stone butterfly hair pin and Judith Leiber butterfly purse.

Hailey, meanwhile, pulled out all the stops with three custom bridal gowns.
Her main look was designed by Off-White and featured the words, "Wedding Dress," in pearls along the back. The Rhode founder, 28, topped off the bespoke piece with a long veil embroidered with the phrase "Till Death Do Us Part" in Abloh's signature block lettering.
She changed into a Rich & Russo silk halter gown and a floor-length Vera Wang for her two reception looks.

Jenner isn't the only on her household dodging flack over something they wore. In 2022, her sister, Kendall, found herself in a similar situation after posting photos of the racy Mônot dress that she wore to her friend Lauren Perez's wedding in November the year prior.
After a commenter shared their feelings over how "inappropriate" they felt the model's outfit was, she wrote back, "@laurenperez obvi asked for your approval in advance too. We love a beach wedding."
