The 2025 NFL trade deadline is set for 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4. We don't generally see too much traffic in terms of deals prior to the deadline, but it does seem like there's more chatter in the rumor mill this year. We may see a few big-name players moved on offense before the deadline that will have fantasy football implications. Here are some players who could be traded and where we'd like to see them land for fantasy.
Breece Hall, RB, Jets
Hall's name has been thrown around in trade rumors for what feels like a few seasons now. He's in the final year of his rookie contract and can become a free agent in 2026. The 1-7 Jets aren't playing for anything this season and have decent depth in Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis behind Hall, though Allen has been on IR since Week 5 due to a knee injury. So in a lost season, New York should be looking to move Hall for draft assets. But what team would be willing to add the back?
Best destination: Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs might have already been in the market for an impact RB before Isiah Pacheco was reported week-to-week with a knee injury. With Pacheco's status shaky and the ground game struggling, Kansas City would be wise to add to the backfield. Kareem Hunt is 30-years-old and while reliable between the tackles and in short-yardage situations, he isn't moving the needle much. Rookie Brashard Smith has flashed upside but isn't experienced and is best used in a lesser role.
Hall could come in and be the unquestioned No. 1 back on an elite offense led by Patrick Mahomes. Hall is already a top-12 back in fantasy and this move could boost him into the top five by the end of the season.

Jakobi Meyers, WR, Raiders
Meyers requested a trade before the season even started, though the Raiders have been patient in finding a new home for the wideout. He also missed Week 7 due to a knee injury and Las Vegas was on bye in Week 8. Meyers is expected back for Week 9 and it could be his audition for a new team. He hasn't had a great season up to this point with just 29 catches on 43 targets for 329 yards and no TDs. The Raiders' offense has also been pretty bad in the first year under coaches Pete Carroll and Chip Kelly, and QB Geno Smith.
Best destination: Buffalo Bills
Many may be calling for a reunion between Meyers and his former team the Patriots. But instead we'd like to see their division rival make a splash and add an impact WR. Buffalo entered the season with Khalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid as the top targets for QB Josh Allen coming off his MVP season. While Allen has still be good in 2025, the Bills rank middle-of-the-pack in passing offense. Meyers would give them a legit No. 1 WR or a 1B option to Shakir. It also might light a fire under WR Keon Coleman, who was expected to do more in his sophomore campaign, but has been disappointing thus far.
This move would boost Meyers into WR2 territory in an explosive offense with an elite QB.
Calvin Ridley, WR, Titans
The Titans are among the worst teams in the NFL at 1-7 and should be looking to the future, both by adding assets and allowing younger receivers to get more playing time. We've seen rookies Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor emerge as promising talents, so moving on from the veteran Ridley makes sense for Tennessee. One potential issue with Ridley being dealt is his contract, which runs through 2027. But if a team is willing to live with that, they'd be getting a receiver who has posted 800+ yards in five of seven NFL seasons. Ridley enters Week 9 having missed the past two games due to a hamstring injury. The Titans may be proceeding with caution to keep Ridley healthy for a potential deal.
Best destination: Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are in desperate need of a No. 2 option behind DK Metcalf for Aaron Rodgers in the passing game. We also know that Rodgers is likely in the ear of head coach Mike Tomlin and GM Omar Khan begging for the team to deal for a wideout. Ridley could work the intermediate routes while Metcalf stretches the field. Ridley feels like a good safety valve for Rodgers to work those quick slants and reads.
On the Steelers, Ridley would find fantasy value and possibly become a good WR2/flex play most weeks.
David Njoku, TE, Browns
The Browns aren't really positioned to compete in the AFC North at the moment given their QB situation and a 2-6 record. But one of the bright spots of the season has been rookie TE Harold Fannin Jr. He enters Week 9 as the TE8 overall in fantasy football with 38 catches on 51 targets for 352 yards and two TDs. The immediate play of Fannin has made Njoku expendable and Cleveland should be looking to get something back for the veteran TE. He's also set to be a free agent in 2026. Njoku has shown he can still be a productive receiver with 27 catches for 260 yards and two TDs.
Best destination: Los Angeles Rams
The Rams haven't had a dynamic pass-catching TE since the team was in St. Louis. Tyler Higbee has been the mainstay at the position but isn't anyone who makes defenses worried when he's running routes. Njoku would give Matthew Stafford another option in the passing game behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. It also wouldn't be bad to have another big body in the red zone to target other than Adams. With defenses keyed in on those receivers, it could free Njoku up in the middle of the field. L.A. also lacks a solid third receiving option. This feels like a move that could return Njoku to startable TE status.
